in-STUDIO is a private camera technique and training studio located in Greensboro, N.C. 

It is operated by JTA's Lee Spencer (Adult Program) and Drew Matthews (Junior Program). 

Enya Flack has worked for more than 20 years as a professional actress, reporter, television host and spokesperson in Los Angeles, New York, and now, here in the Southeast. After earning a degree in Radio/TV Communications with a focus on production from George Washington Univ., she landed work at Warner Bros. Studios as a casting assistant, video editor, and post-production coordinator. Through connections gained “on the lot” she was also able to audition and book some of her first acting jobs. She has co-starred, guest-starred and worked as a series regular on numerous shows and films including The Nutty Professor 2, Malcolm & Eddie, The Sopranos, NYPD Blue, CSI: Miami, Rules of Engagement, Strong Medicine, The Game, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and many more. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0280801/

Self Tape session: $25  – Enya will read opposite you and tape your audition at her home or uptown Charlotte studio, convert the audition file to an MP4 file and send it to you via email, Dropbox or Google Drive. (can also convert to .WMV, .MOV or .AVI if requested) I will coach actors for auditions prior taping for an additional $30 (30 minute session).

In over 20 years of acting on-camera and voiceover in television, film and commercials, Jon Ecklund has developed deep respect and passion for every aspect of video production and the power of storytelling.  While living and working as an actor in Los Angeles, he became a video editor and commercial casting session director for Ross Lacy Casting and Spot Casting, as well as a founding member of Yale Cabaret Hollywood, where he directed some of their most successful productions.

In New York, he continued to act in commercials and direct several short films with his production company, Dream Out Loud Media, a boutique production company that specializes in providing big production values to small budgets and resourceful dreamers.

Together with his wife Fiona Jones - an experienced voiceover performer, theatrical and film producer - Dream Out Loud has provided quality digital submissions, private coaching, on-camera and voiceover reels to the Charlotte community for more than 5 years, since leaving NYC. Dream Out Loud also offers classes and workshops for adults and children.

We offer standard filming sessions that come in 15minute blocks. With this package we include the filming and lighting composition of your audition, as well as provide you with a reading partner for your scene(s), and we will also edit and forward your video to whomever you'd like. For this package, we charge $25 (cash or check or charge/debit) for each 15minute block. 

We ask that you come as prepared as possible, with scripts if need be, and any special instructions from your agent or casting director as to slates, filming, labeling and/or file size/format/delivery. 

We're available 9a-4:30p most weekdays and weekends by appointment, provided we that we are not casting. We will however try our best to work with your schedule. And of course, the more notice we receive, the easier we will be able to schedule you.

Brian Lafontaine has been working as a professional actor for more than 25 years in the Film and Television industry. He has appeared in more than 50 movies and tv shows in roles of all shapes and sizes. From co-starring to recurring on shows including Ozark, Stranger Things,
TURN: Washington’s Spies, The Hate U Give, The Contractor, Nashville, and Delilah…and the list goes on. Brian enjoys working with actors behind the camera almost as much as in front of the camera. He has taught actors of all ages with his main focus being on audition skills, breaking down a script so you can turn in an audition that helps you stand out from the masses. Add to his abilities his commitment to professionalism and reliability and it’s easy to understand why top casting directors throughout the region consistently request and re-request to work with
him.

 

Audition and Self Taping Services:

Basic Self-Tape Session: $35 – Brian will read opposite you and record your audition at his home studio. He will edit, create and label your finished audition files and send them to you via WeTransfer. (Session length: 15 minutes) Audition and Acting Coaching: 30-minute session - $60- or 1-hour session - $100
Brian will request your audition sides prior to your scheduled appointment and get to work breaking down and learning the scene in order to give you greater feedback, adjustments and direction to help you turn in a performance that will increase your chances of getting booked. The same self-taping services are included with one-on-one coaching.
(All rates are based on single auditions. Multiple auditions per session are priced based on a case by case basis.)
